Sodertalje cruised past Umea to open win count in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Sodertalje Kings. Umea managed to win second period 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sodertalje Kings shot 62.7 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage.
