Quarter-Finals Round 2: Telge - Norrkoping 76-75

Telge held off Norrkoping to sweep the series. Norrkoping Dolphins were trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 25-19 charge of Telge, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Norrkoping Dolphins outrebounded Telge 45-21 including a 33-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Deanna Weaver (180-92, college: Boise St.) who scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. International guard Klara Lundquist (173-99) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 assists. Finnish center Sofia Pelander (192-92) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 19 rebounds and American guard Shay Burnett (175-96, college: Elon) added 18 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures.
