Xinjiang beat Gungsha to surge ahead for 2-0 lead. Xinjiang Flying Tige made 25-of-31 charity shots (80.6 percent) during the game. Xinjiang Flying Tige outrebounded Zhejiang Guangsha Lions 44-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Kay Felder (175-95, college: Oakland) notched a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 13 assists to lead the effort and international Abudushalamu Abudurexiti (203-96) supported him with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Xinjiang Flying Tige's coach Brian Goorjian allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 31 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) by Greek center Ioannis Bourousis (214-83) did not help to save the game for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas) added 27 points and 10 assists for the guests. Four Xinjiang Flying Tige and five Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures.
