Ashdod outscored Ramat Hen to sweep the semifinal series. Ashdod made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American center Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Her fellow American import point guard Chelsea Hopkins (173-90, college: San Diego St.) accounted for 14 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 8 steals for the winning side. Kenyan-Canadian power forward Adut Bulgak (193-92, college: Florida St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American swingman Alex Harden (180-93, college: Wichita St.) added 20 points, 7 assists and 5 steals respectively for Maccabi Ramat Gan in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
