There was no surprise in Portland where 5th ranked Hawks (27-49) were crushed by second ranked Trail Blazers (48-27) 118-98 on Friday. Trail Blazers made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Trail Blazers outrebounded Hawks 55-41 including a 45-33 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Damian Lillard (190-90, college: Weber St.) fired 36 points (!!!) and 7 assists for the winners.
