Very expected game when 5th ranked Medias (1-8) lost at home to first ranked CS Dinamo Bucuresti (8-1) 91-79 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by CS Dinamo Bucuresti. Medias was better in fourth quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American power forward Justin Baker (203-89, college: Utah Valley) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Michael Deloach (188-86, college: Norfolk St.) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Baker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. CS Dinamo Bucuresti's coach Tudor Costescu allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Serbian Stefan Sajin (205-93) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and the former international Titus Nicoara (203-88, agency: Interperformances) added 11 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Medias. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. CS Dinamo Bucuresti maintains first place with 8-1 record. Medias lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the fifth position with eight games lost.
