Another exciting game for Kronberg (11-14) which played on the court of 7th ranked Tuebingen II (10-15). Eighth ranked Kronberg won 75-69. Kronberg forced 21 Tuebingen II turnovers and outrebounded them 44-32 including 29 on the defensive glass. Tuebingen II was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for Noah Litzbach (196-0) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. New Zealand Maxim Stephens (200-0) helped adding 12 points and 16 rebounds. Four Kronberg players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Serbian forward Aleksandar Nadjfeji (203-76) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and guard Nils Schmitz (190-1) scored 10 points and 5 assists. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Kronberg. They moved-up to sixth place in South-West, which they share with Giessen. Tuebingen II at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Stuttgart. Kronberg will play against HAKRO Merlins II (#13) in Crailsheim in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tuebingen II will play on the road against the league's second-placed Koblenz (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
