AB Baskets forced 22 Ruhr turnovers and outrebounded them 46-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Max Stoelzel (198-0) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Leonik Wadehn (197-0) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four AB Baskets players scored in double figures. Point guard Felipe Galvez-Braatz (178-0) answered with 22 points and 4 assists and Erik Neusel (204-0) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Ruhr. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
