There was a minor upset when 11th ranked Ancona Luciana (10-15) was edged on the road by thirteenth ranked Porto S.Elpidio (9-17) 84-83 on Sunday. It was a good game for Davide Marchini (185-86, agency: Players Group) who saved his team from a defeat with 23 points and 4 assists. Naturalized San Marino power forward Igor Biordi (203-96) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Point guard Simone Centanni (187-91, agency: Interperformances) answered with 32 points and Riccardo Casagrande (196-88) added 15 points in the effort for Ancona Luciana.
