Fuerza Regia crushed Capitanes to take the lead in the championship series. Fuerza Regia had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Puerto Rican swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Ole Miss) fired 19 points for the winners. International forward Juan Toscano (198-93, college: Marquette, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 19 points. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Panamanian forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-89) produced 21 points and Cuban center Ismael Romero (203-91) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
