The game in Orchies was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Vendee Challans (8-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Orchesien BC (4-8). Vendee Challans did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 78-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Orchesien BC. Vendee Challans made 18-of-19 charity shots (94.7 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for point guard Paul Turpin (190-93) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 steals. Center Jeremie Douillet (205-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Jamaican Ricardo Alliman (201-87, college: Cedarville) replied with 10 points and 8 rebounds and Malcolm Gountas (189-94) added 11 points and 6 assists in the effort for Orchesien BC. Four Vendee Challans and five Orchesien BC players scored in double figures. Vendee Challans moved-up to third place, which they share with Saint-Quentin and Union Tours. Orchesien BC at the other side dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. Vendee Challans' next round opponent will be Saint-Quentin (#4) at home. Orchesien BC will play against La Charite (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
