Schwenningen nipped Giessen 46ers II on the road to secure the next round berth. It was a great evening for Bill Borekambi (198-92, college: Sequoias CC) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Rasheed Moore (196-95, college: E.Stroudsburg) helped adding 19 points and 4 assists. BV Villingen-Schwenningen's coach Alen Velcic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was the former international Johannes Lischka (203-87) with 27 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Bjarne Kraushaar (190-99) scored 15 points and 9 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
