Finals Game 1: Honka - HNMKY 87-78

Honka earned the third position as they beat HNMKY in the consolation final. It looked good early as HNMKY took a 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Honka took control winning next two quarters and eventually winning the game that evening by 9 points. Eemeli Saukkonen (193-0) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and Alvar Peltoniemi (196-1) chipped in 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Honka players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Niilo Anttila (185-1) responded with 23 points and Niklas Vallila (193-1) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. HNMKY's coach Timo Saukkola rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
