Regular Season Round 28: Kronberg - HAKRO Merlins II 69-71

There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked HAKRO Merlins II (9-17) edged on the road higher ranked Kronberg (11-15) 71-69 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of British guard Liam Carpenter (187-96) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) and Promise Idiaru (204-2) who added 8 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Felix Hecker (192-98) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Yannick Schicktanz (186-90) scored 11 points. Kronberg's coach Milo Crnjac tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. HAKRO Merlins II moved-up to twelfth place in South-West, which they share with Mannheim. Loser Kronberg keeps the sixth position with 15 games lost.
