Puerto Rican point guard Carlos Rivera (187-83, college: Hofstra) fired 27 points and 5 assists (perfect from downtown making all five shots) for the winners. Puerto Rican swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Ole Miss) chipped in 20 points and 5 assists. Cuban center Ismael Romero (203-91) produced 22 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!) and international guard Jorge Gutierrez (191-88, college: California) added 13 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side.
