Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tokyo: Toyota Alvark (#3) and Hitachi Sunrockers (#4). Toyota Alvark (41-14) won against visiting Hitachi Sunrockers (27-29) 81-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hitachi Sunrockers.
