Quarter-Finals Round 2: TLU/Kalev - Tartu Ulikool 87-70

TLU/Kalev held off Tartu Ulikool to even the series. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-70. TLU/Kalev dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Tartu Ulikool's 24. They outrebounded Tartu Ulikool 46-24 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward RJ McGhee (198, college: Oklahoma City) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 7 rebounds. The other American import center Michael Buchanan (213-94, college: USC Upstate) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. International Kregor Hermet (204-97) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Lithuanian point guard Arnas Velicka (192-99, agency: Players Group) added 14 points and 7 assists in the effort for Tartu Ulikool. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
