IR upset Stjarnan on the road to advance into Dominos League Finals. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-79. IR looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American-Dutch Gerald Robinson (202-84, college: UT Martin) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Kevin Capers (188-93, college: Florida Southern) contributed with 20 points and 7 assists for the winners. IR's coach Borche Ilievski used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international power forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and Finnish Antti Kanervo (192-89, agency: Blacktop Management) added 19 points in the effort for Stjarnan. Four Stjarnan players scored in double figures.
