Very important is a home loss of third ranked Rivne-OSHVSM (15-7) against sixth ranked Niko-Basket (7-15) on Friday night. Host Rivne-OSHVSM was defeated by Niko-Basket in Rivne 77-64. The game was mostly controlled by Niko-Basket. Rivne-OSHVSM was better in second period 28-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Niko-Basket brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Rivne-OSHVSM was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Stanislav Serpilin (193-93) who led his team to a victory with 29 points and 6 rebounds. The former international center Roman Gumeniuk (220-87) contributed with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks for the winners.
