Kauhajoki beat Seagulls for 1-0 lead. The game was mostly controlled by Kauhajoki. Helsinki Seagulls was better in second period 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Helsinki Seagulls 45-32 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds.
