Fubon Braves outgunned Yulon Luxgen to take 2-1 advantage. Fubon Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Yulon Luxgen's 24. They outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 56-41 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fubon Braves players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a great evening for Costa Rican-Belizean forward Charles Garcia (208-88, college: Seattle) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) helped adding 15 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was American power forward Walter Sharpe (206-86, college: UAB) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import forward Emanuel Jones (200-85, college: UTRGV) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
