Adelantados fired past Almeria to secure LFB promotion. Adelantados dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Almeria's 22. They outrebounded Almeria 42-28 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. British guard Chantel Charles (178-94, college: Maine) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Lithuanian power forward Lina Pikciute (192-90) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Adelantados players scored in double figures. Adelantados' coach Claudo Garcia felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Argentinian power forward Ornella Santana (183-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Isabel Latorre (170-96) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds.
