Leiden stormed past Rotterdam to complete the sweep. The game without a history. Leiden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Rotterdam's 34. Leiden looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Rotterdam's players. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was point guard Maurice Watson (178-93, college: Creighton) who scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Darius Thompson (193-95, college: WKU) chipped in 18 points, 9 assists and 7 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Leiden players scored in double figures. Forward Justin Gordon (198-93, college: Wofford) produced 15 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Trevor Setty (203-89, college: Pikeville) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
