Kauhajoki outgunned KTP Basket to spur ahead in the series. It looked good early as KTP-Basket took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kauhajoki had a 22-13 second period charge getting the lead and KTP-Basket was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 72-106. Kauhajoki dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to KTP-Basket's 34 and made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game, while KTP-Basket only scored five points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Rene Rougeau (198-86, college: UNLV, agency: Blacktop Management) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 rebounds. Bosnian point guard Bojan Sarcevic (190-88) contributed with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. American swingman Jalen Jackson (198-94, college: UALR) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward Donte Thomas (200-96, college: Bradley) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for KTP-Basket. Five Kauhajoki and four KTP-Basket players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
