Finals Game 1: Singapore S. - CLS Knights 67-86

CLS Knights posted the opening victory in the Finals. They shocked Singapore Slingers on the road in the opener. The game was mostly controlled by CLS Knights. Singapore Slingers managed to win second period 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American center Darryl Watkins (211-84, college: Syracuse) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and American-Nigerian power forward Maxie Esho (206-91, college: Massachusetts, agency: Two Points) chipped in 24 points and 8 rebounds. Four CLS Knights players scored in double figures. CLS Knights' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard Xavier Alexander (198-88, college: S.Nazarene) responded with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import power forward John Fields (205-88, college: Tennessee) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds.
