Quarter-Finals Round 5: Boston C. - Milwaukee B. 91-116
Date: May 8, 2019
Milwaukee destroyed Boston at home court to win the series. Bucks made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Bucks made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was Greek-Nigerian swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo (211-94, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Khris Middleton (203-91, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Forward Marcus Morris (206-89, college: Kansas) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Dominican power forward Alfred Horford (208-86, college: Florida) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Five Bucks and four Celtics players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
