Fifth-ranked Kozuv (13-13) made lots of trouble for first ranked MZT Skopje (23-3). MZT Skopje managed to secure only one-point victory 89-88. However their fans expected much easier game. Kozuv was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for international Damjan Stojanovski (198-87) who saved his team from a defeat with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard James Woodard (191-94, college: Tulsa) contributed with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Serbian center Igor Kesar (210-92, agency: Mansfield and Associates) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Devaugntah Williams (193-94, college: Texas Tech, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 17 points and 8 assists in the effort for Kozuv. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. MZT Skopje have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 23-3 record. Kozuv at the other side keeps the fifth place with 13 games lost. MZT Skopje will play against Blokotehna (#3) in Gevgelija in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Kozuv will play at home against the league's second-placed Rabotnicki and hopes to get back on the winning track.
