Finals Game 4: Ragusa - Familia Schio 62-81

Familia Schio defended Serie A title. They edged Ragusa in Game 4 of the title series to win the trophy. The game was mostly controlled by Familia Schio. Ragusa managed to win third quarter 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Familia Schio dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Ragusa's 26. They outrebounded Ragusa 34-19 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Familia Schio especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Ragusa's players. American center Jantel Lavender (191-88, college: Ohio St.) fired 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. French center Sandrine Gruda (193-87) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Five Familia Schio players scored in double figures. International guard Nicole Romeo (168-89, college: Washington) produced 22 points and the former international forward Chiara Consolini (186-88) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
