Mgzavrebi stormed past Batumi to secure the semifinal appearance. The game without a history. Mgzavrebi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Batumi's 28. Mgzavrebi forced 20 Batumi turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Batumi helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Kakhaber Jintcharadze (195-93) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists. American point guard Adrian Bowie (189-89, college: Maryland) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals. Mgzavrebi's coach Anatoli Berishvili felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Kasey Shepherd (190-94, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Duran International) produced 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Serbian power forward Stefan Andrejevic (209-93) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests.
