Very important is a road loss of Guelph N. (1-1) against Saskatchewan R. (1-1) on Saturday night. Visiting Guelph N. was crushed by Saskatchewan R. in Saskatoon 130-110. Saskatchewan R. shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 56.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Guard Negus Webster-Chan (201, college: Hawaii) fired 28 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American forward Tavrion Dawson (188, college: CS Northridge) chipped in 27 points and 7 rebounds. DR Congolese-Canadian guard Myck Kabongo (190, college: Texas) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 assists and Jamaican-Canadian guard Jamal Reynolds (193, college: Canisius) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Saskatchewan R. will meet at home Hamilton HB in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Guelph N. will play against Fraser Valley B. and hope to win that game.
