Finals Game 1: Inter Bratislava - Prievidza 87-54

Inter Bratislava eased past Prievidza in the Finals opener. Inter Bratislava well out of reach of Prievidza shooting 355.6 percent from the field. They outrebounded Prievidza 42-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Inter Bratislava especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 157.1 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Inter Bratislava made 7 blocks. American guard Arik Smith (185-93, college: Cal Lutheran) stepped up and scored 17 points (on 6-of-0 shooting from the field) for the winners and Montenegrin point guard Goran Bulatovic (186-88) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava's coach Oliver Vidin felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Stacy Davis (198-94, college: Pepperdine, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 11 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import point guard Rodney Glasgow (180-92, college: VMI) scored 12 points.
