Semi-Finals Game 1: Golden St.W. - Portland TB 116-94

The game was mostly controlled by Warriors. Trail Blazers was better in third quarter 26-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Warriors forced 21 Trail Blazers turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 51.5 percentage. Warriors players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Point guard Stephen Curry (190-88, college: Davidson) stepped up and scored 36 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Bahamas-American guard Klay Thompson (201-90, college: WSU) chipped in 26 points. At the losing side point guard Damian Lillard (190-90, college: Weber St.) responded with 19 points and 6 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Turkish center Enes Kanter (211-92, college: Kentucky) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds. Five Trail Blazers players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
