Delta upset Mgzavrebi for the second straight win in the series. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Mgzavrebi won fourth quarter 23-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Mgzavrebi 43-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. Delta players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international point guard Otar Pkhakadze (188-93, college: Simpson, CA) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). The former international power forward Beka Bekauri (207-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Adrian Bowie (189-89, college: Maryland) replied with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international swingman Kakhaber Jintcharadze (195-93) added 6 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Mgzavrebi. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
