Semi-Finals Game 3: Delta - Mgzavrebi 98-75

Delta crushed Mgzavrebi to sweep the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Delta. Mgzavrebi managed to win third quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Mgzavrebi to just 5 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Mgzavrebi 34-21 including 22 on the defensive glass. Delta looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Mgzavrebi's players. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Beka Bekauri (207-91) who scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. International center Gegi Baqradze (206-94) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international swingman Kakhaber Jintcharadze (195-93) who recorded 20 points and 9 rebounds and American point guard Adrian Bowie (189-89, college: Maryland) added 21 points and 5 assists respectively. Five Delta and four Mgzavrebi players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
