Melilla reached the semifinal stage as they topped Valladolid in the decider. The hosts were already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 22-17 Carramimbre's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 77-71 at the end of the game. Canadian-Nigerian guard Caleb Agada (193-94, college: Ottawa, agency: Blacktop Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Danish forward Jonathan Gilling (203-91, college: ASU) chipped in 17 points. Melilla Baloncesto's coach Alejandro Alcoba used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Sergio De-La-Fuente (198-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Swiss guard Jonathan Kazadi (193-91) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Carramimbre players scored in double figures.
