Zwolle knocked down Groningen to even the Finals at 1-1. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-13. But Groningen won second period 17-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Groningen 48-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. American forward Kayel Locke (196-94, college: UNCG) had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Noah Dahlman (201-89, college: Wofford) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American point guard Lance Jeter (191-88, college: Nebraska) responded with 7 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Thomas Koenis (211-89, agency: Court Side) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds.
