Hapoel stormed past Beer Sheva to open 2-0 lead. Hapoel Jerusalem looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Beer Sheva's players. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was forward Tashawn Thomas (203-93, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Center Josh Owens (206-88, college: Stanford) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four Hapoel Jerusalem players scored in double figures. Guard Jordan Swing (198-90, college: UAB) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Jakim Donaldson (204-83, college: Edinboro) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
