Semi-Finals Game 3: AEK - Promitheas 88-60
Date: June 3, 2019
The game was mostly controlled by AEK. Promitheas was better in fourth quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AEK dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Promitheas' 26. AEK forced 22 Promitheas turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Gabe York (190-93, college: Arizona) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points. His fellow American import Vincent Hunter (203-94, college: UTEP) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four AEK players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Michalis Tsairelis (206-88, agency: Mansfield and Associates) with 13 points and American point guard Langston Hall (193-91, college: Mercer, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
