Sassari fired past Umana Venezia to deliver the second victory in the title series. Umana Venezia trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 23-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 88-95 at the end of the game. Banco di Srd made 32-of-39 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game, while Umana Venezia only scored twelve points from the stripe. 34 personal fouls committed by Umana Venezia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Jack Cooley (206-91, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds.
