Quarter-Finals Round 4: Jalisco - Tijuana 96-68

Date: June 16, 2019
Jalisco beat Tijuana to draw things even at 2-2. Gigantes made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Tijuana Zonkeys turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Tijuana Zonkeys helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for American guard Jordan Williams (198-92, college: N.Texas) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 4 steals. The other American import forward Branden Dawson (198-93, college: Michigan St.) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Gigantes players scored in double figures. Naturalized American guard Karim Scott (196-88) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and American center AJ West (206-91, college: Nevada) added 11 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Tijuana Zonkeys. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
