Regular Season Round 5: Manquehue - Puente Alto 65-86

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Manquehue (3-2) at the home court. Hosts were rolled over by Puente Alto (4-1) 86-65. It was a key game for the top position in Centro. Point guard Diego Valenzuela (185-94) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points, 19 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and guard Felix Ibarra (187-93) accounted for 25 points. Four Puente Alto players scored in double figures. The former international Fernando Schuler (190-91) came up with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Jose Brahm added 8 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for Manquehue in the defeat. Puente Alto keeps a position of Centro leader. Manquehue at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. Puente Alto will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
