Rather expected game in Hawthorn where 7th ranked Devils (6-13) were crushed by fourth ranked Magic (13-6) 109-78 on Saturday. Magic dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Devils' 34 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Magic looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Nelson Kirksey (190-89, college: UMKC) scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Luke Sist chipped in 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest.
