La Paz topped Obregon to even the series at 2-2. Mantarrayas made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Halcones de Ciudad Obregon turnovers and outrebounded them 45-33 including 34 on the defensive glass. Mantarrayas players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-90) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and American-Dominican Antonio Pena (204-86, college: Villanova) supported him with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Mantarrayas players scored in double figures. Even 29 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists by international guard Jose-David Estrada (194-94, agency: Pro Sports) did not help to save the game for Halcones de Ciudad Obregon. American guard Isaiah Wilkerson (191-90, college: NJIT) added 20 points for lost side.
