La Paz reached the Finals after cruising past Obregon in the seventh game. Mantarrayas made 32-of-37 free shots (86.5 percent) during the game. 29 personal fouls committed by Halcones de Ciudad Obregon helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American guard Kyle Lamonte (191-84, college: William Carey) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 5 assists. American-Dominican Antonio Pena (204-86, college: Villanova) helped adding 22 points and 9 rebounds. Lamonte is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side international guard Jose-David Estrada (194-94, agency: Pro Sports) responded with 29 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized American swingman PJ Reyes (196-88, college: Charleston) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Five Mantarrayas and four Halcones de Ciudad Obregon players scored in double figures. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
