Puerto Rico outscored Dominican Republic to reach the title game. Dominican Republic grabbed a 17:11 lead after ten minutes. Puerto Rico denied the deficit in the third term as the teams entered the fourth quarter tied at 42. Puerto Rico sank 18 points in the fourth quarter and snatched the win at the end. Nangely Garcia provided 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Nina De Leon contributed 15 points for Puerto Rico. Ashley Baez replied with 22 points for Dominican Republic.
