Important game to mention about took place in Wonthella. Fifth ranked Buccaneers (16-6) saved a 3-point victory at home edging top-ranked Wanneroo (19-6) 85-82 on Saturday evening. Buccaneers dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Wanneroo's 22. They outrebounded Wanneroo 47-33 including 17 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Colter Lasher (201-94, college: Houston Baptist) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Deangelo Isby (196-96, college: Utah St., agency: Haylett Sports) who added 24 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Buccaneers players scored in double figures. Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-91, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized Greek guard Trian Iliadis (190-89, college: ODU) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Wanneroo's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Buccaneers maintains fifth position in League with 16-6 record. Wanneroo at the other side still keeps top place with six games lost. Buccaneers will play against Slammers (#14) in Bunbury in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
