Regular Season Round 16: Betway Power - Our Saviour 112-58

Bottom-ranked Our Saviour (0-16) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 112-58 loss to sixth ranked Betway Power (9-4) in . They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Our Saviour's 40. Betway Power forced 24 Our Saviour turnovers and outrebounded them 61-39 including a 26-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Betway Power players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Our Saviour's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Syrus Kiviiri (-88) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Power forward Afidra Isaac (-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Betway Power players scored in double figures. Betway Power's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Davis Assimwe replied with 18 points and 4 assists and Maker Mayen added 9 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Our Saviour. Betway Power have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 9-4 record. Our Saviour at the other side still closes the standings.
