The game in Santiago supposed to be also quite interesting. Caneros Del Este (0-3) played at the court of Metros STGO (1-2). Metros STGO smashed Caneros Del Este 86-65 on Sunday. Metros STGO looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Adris De Leon (180-84, college: EWU) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American Dominic McGuire (206-85, college: Fresno St.) chipped in 9 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Metros STGO players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Jonathan Araujo who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Andy Williams (195-80, agency: Court Side) added 5 points and 11 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Metros STGO will meet at home Leones SD in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Caneros Del Este will play against Reales LV (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
