There was a minor upset in Hyogo where Bambitious Nara (0-2) was defeated by Nishinomiya S. (2-0) 72-62 on Sunday. Nishinomiya S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Center Brad Waldow (208-91, college: St.Mary's, CA, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: DePaul) chipped in 8 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Nishinomiya S.'s coach Chris Marmarinos used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-90, college: Oklahoma) responded with 23 points and 7 rebounds and forward Jason Carter (206-92, college: Texas Southern, agency: Haylett Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds.
