Regular Season Round 11: Indios SFM - Metros STGO 91-86

The game between second ranked Metros STGO (5-6) and sixth ranked Indios SFM (4-7) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Metros STGO was defeated by Indios SFM in a tough game in San Francisco 86-91. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Metros STGO. The best player for the winners was American swingman Paris Bass (203-95, college: Detroit Mercy) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Naturalized Spanish forward Edward Santana (203-80) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Brandone Francis (196-95, college: Texas Tech) produced 24 points and American Dominic McGuire (206-85, college: Fresno St.) added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Indios SFM have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 4-7 record. Metros STGO at the other side dropped to the third position with six games lost. They share it with Soles SD and Leones SD. Indios SFM are looking forward to face league's second-placed Caneros Del Este in La Romana in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Metros STGO will play on the road against Soles SD in Santo Domingo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
